Eric Westerlund serves as Senior Dispatcher for CIDS, LLC, bringing extensive experience in transportation, logistics, and field operations to one of the company’s most critical day-to-day roles. With more than 14 years of experience in roll-off dispatching and over two decades of transportation and route coordination experience, Eric has developed a thorough understanding of the planning and communication required to keep equipment, drivers, and containers moving efficiently.

Prior to his career in dispatch and transportation, Eric worked as a construction superintendent, where he developed valuable experience in field leadership, scheduling, organization, and coordinating personnel and resources. This construction background gives him a practical understanding of jobsite demands and the importance of dependable, timely service to CIDS customers and project teams.

Eric also served seven years in the United States Marine Corps, where his experience in a leadership and training role helped develop the discipline, accountability, and attention to detail that continue to characterize his approach to his work today.

As Senior Dispatcher, Eric coordinates the daily movement of CIDS roll-off trucks and containers, balancing customer needs, driver schedules, jobsite requirements, and changing field conditions. His ability to anticipate logistical challenges and make timely decisions helps ensure that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently while keeping the company’s transportation operations moving safely and productively.
