Jerry Wisham

Vice President of Remediation | CIDS, LLC

Jerry Wisham serves as Vice President of Remediation for CIDS, LLC, bringing more than four decades of hands-on experience and leadership in the asbestos abatement and environmental remediation industry.

Jerry began his career in the 1980s as an asbestos abatement technician, gaining his experience in the field before advancing into supervisory roles and leading crews on projects throughout the Southeast. That field experience became the foundation for a career built on practical knowledge, strong leadership, and an understanding of what it takes to successfully execute complex remediation projects.

In the 2000s, Jerry transitioned into estimating and project management, where he became well known and highly respected among environmental consultants, contractors, and clients throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. Over the course of his career, he has managed crews and performed work for organizations including Dominion Energy, Kimberly-Clark, Duke Energy, CSX Transportation, the University of South Carolina, numerous general contractors, and a wide range of commercial, industrial, institutional, and government clients.

Jerry has held numerous certifications in asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, and occupational safety throughout his career. More importantly, his decades of field and management experience provide him with the ability to evaluate difficult projects, anticipate challenges, and develop practical solutions that keep work moving safely and efficiently.

Among his colleagues and industry peers, Jerry is known for his work ethic, determination, and ability to get things done. Often described as tireless and a workhorse, Jerry brings a level of experience and “horsepower” to CIDS that is difficult to replicate.

As Vice President of Remediation, Jerry provides leadership and technical expertise to CIDS remediation operations, supporting estimating, project management, field personnel, client relationships, and the successful execution of projects throughout the Southeast.
