Jonathan Reed
Logistics Manager | Green Giant Waste
Jonathan Reed manages logistics and roll-off routing for Green Giant Waste, a CIDS Holdco company serving the Upstate of South Carolina. His role focuses heavily on supporting residential developers and production homebuilders by coordinating the placement, movement, servicing, and removal of roll-off containers throughout active developments.
Rather than relying solely on builders to request service when a container is full, Jonathan takes a proactive approach to roll-off management. Working with other members of the Green Giant team, he routinely monitors active developments and construction activity to anticipate when containers need to be delivered, emptied, relocated, or removed. This allows Green Giant to coordinate service around the builder’s construction schedule and helps prevent full containers from becoming an unnecessary interruption to work in progress.
Behind what may appear to be a simple container swap is a highly coordinated logistics process. Jonathan must balance container inventory, truck availability, route efficiency, construction progress, disposal requirements, and the changing needs of multiple developments and jobsites throughout the Upstate.
His ability to strategically plan routes and container movements is an important part of Green Giant’s operating model. By reducing unnecessary trips, improving equipment utilization, and anticipating customer needs, Jonathan helps Green Giant provide dependable service while maintaining the operational efficiencies necessary for sustainable growth and profitability.
Through proactive planning and a strong understanding of the production-homebuilding environment, Jonathan helps ensure Green Giant remains a reliable logistics partner for builders throughout Upstate South Carolina.
