Division Manager | Green Giant Waste

Leon Fant serves as Division Manager for Green Giant Waste, a CIDS Holdco company serving the Upstate of South Carolina. In this role, Leon is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the company, providing leadership across virtually every aspect of Green Giant’s day-to-day business.

His responsibilities include oversight of dispatch and logistics, fleet and equipment acquisition, maintenance and repair operations, the mechanics shop, customer relations, pricing and contract negotiations, cost-control initiatives, and DOT compliance. Working closely with Green Giant’s dispatch and logistics team, drivers, mechanics, and CIDS Holdco leadership, Leon helps ensure that the company has the people, equipment, and resources necessary to provide dependable service while operating safely and efficiently.

Before joining Green Giant, Leon worked for a large waste disposal facility where he managed fleet operations associated with waste management and disposal. That experience provided him with a strong understanding of the operational demands of the waste industry, including fleet utilization, equipment maintenance, transportation logistics, regulatory compliance, and controlling the significant costs associated with operating heavy trucks and equipment.

At Green Giant, Leon combines that experience with a hands-on management approach. He works directly with customers to develop and maintain relationships, negotiate competitive pricing, and identify service solutions while continually evaluating opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency.

As Division Manager, Leon plays a central role in balancing customer service, operational performance, regulatory compliance, and profitability. His leadership helps provide the structure and accountability necessary for Green Giant to continue expanding its roll-off operations and customer base throughout Upstate South Carolina.
